One of our key Community Relations Unit programs is the Citizens Police Academy (CPA). It's an engaging 11-week program that offers community members an inside look at how the FSPD operates.

Each week, participants receive hands-on instruction covering various department capabilities. Our primary goal is to foster cooperation between Fort Smith's residents and our dedicated department members.

The Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association plays a vital role in this effort. Comprising former CPA students, they provide invaluable support and help in promoting a positive image of the Fort Smith Police Department throughout the city.
