At the Fort Smith Police Department, we are proud to be a part of Operation Juice Box, a heartwarming initiative that plays a pivotal role in our community relations efforts. Operation Juice Box, founded by Chelsea Parham, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve, with a special focus on our youth.
What is Operation Juice Box?
Operation Juice Box is a simple yet impactful program. It involves our law enforcement officers distributing free juice boxes and other non-perishable goods like crayons and coloring books to the public, with a particular emphasis on children. This small gesture creates positive interactions and opens dialogues between our officers and the community, helping to break down barriers and foster trust.
Our Role in Operation Juice Box:
As a chapter of Operation Juice Box, we proudly participate in this meaningful initiative. Our officers volunteer their time to distribute juice boxes and engage with the community during their patrols. By doing so, we aim to create positive and lasting impressions on the minds of our youth, while also strengthening the bonds between our officers and the public.
Building Trust and Relationships:
Our involvement in Operation Juice Box aligns with our commitment to building trust and meaningful relationships within our community. We believe that by reaching out to children in a friendly and approachable manner, we can instill a positive image of law enforcement from a young age.
