Engaging Our Community One Vehicle at a Time

Our unit is dedicated to fostering positive community interactions, and another way we achieve this is through Touch-A-Truck events. We enthusiastically participate in these events when requested by churches, schools, and non-profit organizations. Touch-A-Truck events provide an exciting opportunity for children and adults alike to get up close and personal with various vehicles from our fleet.

Typically, these events involve requests for a range of our vehicles, including:

1. Motorcycles: Our agile motorcycles are a hit, allowing attendees to see the specialized vehicles used by our officers.

2. Bike Unit: The Bike Unit showcases the versatility of our officers, highlighting their ability to navigate different terrains.

3. Scribble Car: This unique vehicle sparks creativity and curiosity, often becoming a favorite among young participants.

4. Patrol Unit: Our patrol cars are a familiar sight on our streets, and these events provide an opportunity for people to explore them up close.

5. K-9 Unit: The K-9 unit is always a crowd-pleaser, showcasing the incredible bond between our officers and their four-legged partners.
