Home MenuTree & Bench Donation Program
Our Commemorative Tree & Memorial Park Bench Programs allow groups and individuals to sponsor trees and benches to honor associates, friends, and loved ones. These programs provide a way for you to stay connected to a particular place and offer the opportunity to help the community stay beautiful for generations to come.
Commemorative Tree Planting Program
Not only are trees a beautiful and beneficial aspect of our community, but trees can also be an amazing opportunity to commemorate someone in your life. Honor or memorialize a friend, associate, or loved one with a Commemorative Tree.
Participating in our Commemorative Tree Planting Program is simple! First, City Staff will help you select a tree site. After choosing a location, friends, families, and business associates have an opportunity to see their trees planted during the spring and fall months.
To secure your Commemorative Tree, a $300 donation is required. This amount includes the purchase of a tree with an approximately 1.5-inch diameter trunk, future maintenance costs, and a one-year replacement guarantee.
To participate, print and complete Commemorative Tree Planting Program form and return it (along with payment) via mail or in person. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 479-784-1006 with any questions.

The donation cost covers the purchase of the bench, installation, and a commemorative plaque. Your newly installed bench will be secured on a concrete pad. City Staff will help you determine an appropriate location for your Memorial Bench.
