Josh Buchfink has resided in the River Valley area for the past two years, most recently serving as Associate Pastor at TheBOD Church in Roland, Oklahoma.

“I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside City leadership and staff to implement and communicate the City's vision of growth while retaining the values that make Fort Smith great. After five years of living and working in other cities, I returned to the River Valley because it is an incredible place to live, work, play, and raise a family. I look forward to serving the City in this capacity.”

In his role, Buchfink manages the City’s social media and executes a variety of communications initiatives and efforts on behalf of the City of Fort Smith. Buchfink’s skill set includes video editing, branding, social media and website management, content creation, strategic marketing campaign development, and process systems integration.
