All are welcome and encouraged to attend board meetings every Tuesday in-person. Board meetings are a great way for residents to understand what is happening in the City and to make their voices heard during public comment opportunities. At a board meeting, you can observe:

• Policies put into place
• Discussions about passing laws
• Regulations on animal rights and homing
• Major project construction and development updates
• Voting on the purchasing of large equipment such as fire trucks, trash trucks, police vehicles

Regular Meetings

Regular meetings are official voting meetings of the Board of Directors where all official business is conducted. Two regular meetings are held each month on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. These meetings are held at The Blue Lion on 101 North 2nd Street. The Board may call special meetings as necessary.

Study Sessions

The Board of Directors holds study sessions to discuss one or more topics brought by the City Administrator or Board members. These topics may or may not become action items for the Board to vote on in regular meetings. Study sessions are not voting meetings. Live study sessions are broadcasted and recordings are available if you cannot attend in person

Two regular study sessions are held per month on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. These meetings are held at The Blue Lion on 101 North 2nd Street. Additionally, a citizens' forum occurs once a month, typically the first study session of each month.
